Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026
The service
Fanout Studio is a business name of JBW Investments, Inc., a California corporation ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and JBW Investments, Inc.
Fanout Studio turns the newsletter or blog issues you publish into social media posts and visuals, delivered through a private approval portal. We also schedule approved posts into your Buffer account and report on their performance.
Free sample packs
Sample packs are free, with no obligation to buy. We may decline a request at our discretion, for example if the site is not a newsletter or blog, or if its content isn't something we can work with.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars. There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time, and you won't be billed for the following month. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email.
Refunds
If your first paid month isn't something you would post, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we'll refund that payment in full. Other payments are non-refundable, but cancellation stops all future charges.
Your content and approval
You keep all rights to your articles and to the posts we create from them. You give us permission to use your content only to provide the service. Nothing is published until you approve it, and you are responsible for what you approve and publish.
Accuracy
We check every post against your article, but we cannot guarantee that every post is free of errors. Please review each post before approving it.
Third-party services
Scheduling depends on Buffer and on each social platform. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes or decisions about your accounts.
Acceptable use
Don't send us content you don't have the right to publish, or content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes someone else's rights. We may stop working on content that breaks these rules.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
